Richard Evans is a passionate product designer who has worked with many companies to design, develop, and manufacture successful products in the industrial and consumer markets.
Richard is currently the VP of Research and Development at Mechanized Concepts where he leads the design and development of industrial products. His passion for simplicity, good design, and optimal functionality drive his desire to create the perfect product. The creative skill set Richard has acquired over the years allow him to be free of constraints and focus on the possibilities and potential of new ideas.
He has worked for US and Chinese companies. He helped launch a Chinese fitness company heading up the branding, product line, design aesthetics, and marketing strategy, which was successfully acquired by competition. Richard has extensive experience in sourcing and manufacturing products in Asia.
Richard loves to tackle and solve problems, whether it's figuring out the best way to manufacture a product, looking for a market competitive advantage, which plastic resin is optimal for a specific look, or bigger ideas around clean drinking water, sustainable materials, and current environmental concerns.
